Company History
Gulf States was founded in 1968 and has since shipped over 60,000 orders to customers worldwide. Our manufacturing area covers well over 280,000 square feet, and is one of the most modern, up-to-date manufacturing facilities in the industry. Our plant has the capabilities of producing 1,200 tons of metal buildings per week.
As part of the NUCOR Buildings Group, we have an unlimited supply of steel and a part of the largest recycler of steel in the Northern Hemisphere. Being GREEN, is our nature.
Transportation
In the metal building industry, time is of the essence. That’s why Gulf States utilizes ABC Trucking, a sister company, to make sure delivery of your building is on time, ready to erect.
Whether it be a long or short haul, our drivers are there to service customers. When we schedule delivery of your building, you can be assured our drivers will be there as scheduled. We maintain a 24-hour, 7-day a week transponder controlled contact with our drivers to better assist in delivery scheduling.
Gulf States not only delivers your building on time, we also use the same units to back-haul raw materials to our plant for the manufacture of our building systems. This results in building material prices being kept lower because we are able to transport our own materials to our plant for fabrication.
Gulf States is also extremely experienced in shipping materials internationally. We work closely with our shipping agents to insure that our international shipments are as timely and accurate as our domestic shipments, thus resulting in better overall satisfaction from our customers.
